One of the biggest supermarkets in Mexico. I use them to send food supplies to Ana (part of my nutrition program) – everything done online [www.chedraui.com.mx] with a whole team of incredible staff/management helping me out with the gifts!
Just received photos taken by them of the gift delivery made today. This is way over my expectations!! I loved the decorated box with neatly assembled items and to accompany stuffed toys was a very nice gesture – I greatly appreciate the care and efforts taken by the store staff at Chedraui (Vallarta), and I thanked them for coordinating this gift delivery successfully.
Querida Ana
¡Estar sano!
Amor, Chelaka
That's an exciting post, chelaka (and I don't even have a sponsored child in Mexico...but I'm considering it) What a splendid service! Thank you for the tip (which I might be using soon) and special applause to you for tending to nutrition. Food first! I have marked your post "favorite" so I can reference your advice.

Good tip! I don't sponsor any children in Mexico, but I've visited the country 6 times and the three big supermarkets are: Chedraui, Soriana and Bodega Aurrera. Soriana also seems to offer home delivery, so that might be another option that could work. For those who sponsor in Colombia, Exito and Carulla are the two big online supermarkets. I prefer to just send Extra Gifts, so I don't have any first-hand experience with any of the websites I mentioned.

I'm excited to learn of this option in Mexico! I have previously used Tu Guatemala in Guatemala and Shopzed in Zambia, but I didn't know of any options in Mexico. Thank you for sharing!
