I had planned to send Juliana some clothes since last December, but delayed in the wake of Mayon eruption in January as she had to move out for safety. And then in April I saw her new annual photo and the effect of psychological trauma she been through all over her face. So, without further ado I resumed my challenging project to find the right dress for her!
I just received the photos and was overjoyed to see her in the dress.. the top and the Denim jean fit & suit her so perfect and she’s happier as ever!
Thanks for the helpful insight of fellow sponsors in MSC on my post “Children Dress Sizes”.
She must be over the moon about your wonderful gifts.

So happy to see your little Juliana happy...it is hard for us to imagine how traumatic the Volcano was for many of our families...so kudos to you for making your little girl feel safe and happy again!

Yes, Liro – I worry for the children living in the shadow of deadly volcanoes, and have just dispatched sanitary/safety kits (20L water filters, 50 disposable masks & 6 soap bars) to each of my two girls in Guatemala.

I am glad that she is safe and has moved to another location away from the volcano. She looks very happy despite having to have left home. My thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends, and/or the victims of the people in the Philippines and Guatemala. Stay safe and be careful.

Thanks Jennifer! I will pass your well wishes to Juliana. She had to move out to stay in an evacuation center for a while before returned home to normality.

I just noticed that in the midst of seen Juliana's excitement with the "singing doll" the staff/parent completely forgot to mention it in the follow-up report/letter. I can understand when immersed in constant thoughts of something, people tend to see the ones outside clearly but forget the most obvious – human nature!
