Have you thought that what children are taught in CI Centers can be very useful to anyone? I'd take this wonderful advice from the field staff for myself as well.

- Create a routine where you can do everyday tasks that keep your mind busy.
- Limit your news intake. That’s right, you need to stay informed, but you don’t want to watch the news all day.
- Don’t spread negative messages. You don’t know how other people might react to these.
- Do something new! Read a book, play some board games with the people in your house, take time to meditate and connect with yourself.
Writing to my sponsored children at the weekend is something I do routinely. Just wrote to Simon (saved to Media) with my 2yrs experience so far in Zambia sponsorship took me to their world (and that of mine) – living in the moment really does make us happier!
Good advice indeed chelaka! This Pandemic has especially been difficult on children all over the world and I fear some of the effects will be long lasting and include mental, physical and emotional issues. Luckily children are resilient and our sponsored children have resources that many do not. Love your letter to Simon...he will have many things to think about and write back to you.

I went to your profile, read the letter and I also noticed you got a new photo of Simon, he is of course my favorite from your group of sponsored children. He will love to receive your letter for sure!

Liro, I agree. The mental health is no more vital to the children than at a time of the pandemic. I know that CI Mexico and Kolkata initiated this curriculum in 2018; my Karla in Mexico just wrote saying how her entire family contracted the virus.
