Adela is one of three I now have from Ecuador. She is due to graduate from the program sometime early next year, and focusing solely on her school studies to enter the university to do veterinary science. Nowadays, she does not get time at all to participate in CI programs due to her study commitments.
I find Ecuadorian children by far the best intellectuals, so thought feeding their curiosities with a question when I wrote Adela this morning..
Do you receive any help from CI in preparing for job interviews?
I wanted to ask you something to get you thinking of hiring a person..
3 people were interviewed for a job and all were presented with a piece of wood broken from the table edge they sat facing the interviewer, who asked 'what would you do?'
- 1st person said, will replace the whole table
- 2nd person said, will get a carpenter to fix it
- 3rd person asked for some glue, so it can be fixed right there
What would you be if you were asked that question in an interview?
(WG – mattress, bed base, sheet sets, mosquito nets, bicycle)
I'm trying to get her attention to do something for me away from her highly motivated academic life, and hoping it will prepare her thinking wisely!
I greatly admire your creative ways to inspire thinking beyond the pure recall of facts! Regardless of whether this question begins a dialogue in the near future, I think it will remain in her mind as a puzzle to be solved.

Great idea to start her thinking from the potential employer's point of view.

I love that idea of getting them thinking about the future! What a wonderful way you did it too.
